The Honda Accord is a stylish and reliable midsize sedan for Greater Dallas Area Drivers!

At Huggins Honda in North Richland Hills, the Honda Accord is one of the best-selling Honda models, and because of that we keep hundreds of them in stock. If you're looking for an economical way to drive around Dallas, Fort Worth, Lewisville  and all of North Texas in reliable and well-equipped style, stop by our Honda Dealership showroom to shop our vast selection of new Honda Accord models!

What's new for 2019?

Our favorite midsize sedan was redesigned for the 2018 model year, so the 2019 Honda Accord is essentially unchanged. The biggest difference is that the top trim used to offer two engines, but now you can only get the more powerful engine. Truthfully, that's not bad for people looking for a little kick as they cruise around Grapevine

Performance

The Honda Accord is available in several trims: LX, Sport, EX, EX-L, and Touring, and all trims except the Sport also have a hybrid variant. For gasoline models, the 1.5L turbo has 192 horsepower and the 2.0L has 252 horsepower. Here's the engine availability breakdown for the trims.

  • LX: 1.5T
  •
  • Sport: 1.5T & 2.0T
  •
  • EX: 1.5T
  •
  • EX-L: 1.5T & 2.0T
  •
  • Touring: 2.0T

Style

The Honda Accord was always a popular choice, but after the most recent redesign, shoppers were really clamoring to buy it. The elongated style, bold grille and wheel designs, and eye-catching interior proved that midsize sedan styling didn't need to be ho-hum or boring. Journalists likened the model to having "European" aesthetics, and we think the interior and exterior give the Honda Accord a class-above vibe.

Safety

Shoppers nowadays, like those we serve from Irving TX, expect a vehicle to have advanced safety options, which is why they love shopping for a Honda Accord. Unlike some midsize options where you only get features on the top trims, the Honda Accord comes equipped with the Honda Sensing® package on all trims. With Honda Sensing® you receive the following:

  • Lane Departure Warning
  •
  • Lane Keeping Assist
  •
  • Road Departure Mitigation
  •
  • Adaptive Cruise Control with low-speed follow
  •
  • Collision Braking System
  •
  • Forward Collision Warning
  •
  • Traffic Sign Recognition

Bluetooth and backup camera are also standard, and as you move up the trims you can find more advanced safety features. There's the ability to get blind spot monitoring, parking sensors, and a heads-up display that shows pertinent information on the windshield.

Trim Level Features

Because we have such large inventory of Honda Accord models, we aim to carry all the trims. Here are some of our favorite amenities that you can get on each level.

  • LX: along with the impressive safety features we mentioned earlier, there's also auto on/off LED low-beam headlights with automatic high beams, Eco Assist to help conserve energy as you make your way around Irving TX, a push button start, and a 7-inch touchscreen.
  •
  • Sport: you'll get a larger 8-inch screen, Apple CarPlay™/Android Auto™ so you can connect your eligible smartphones to the infotainment screen, 12-way power seating for the driver, sport-focused stylings on the pedals, spoiler, and exhaust, larger 19-inch alloy wheels, and a handsome leather-wrapped steering wheel.
  •
  • EX: enjoy the the moonroof, additional blind spot monitoring with cross-traffic monitoring, the smart key to use in addition to the standard push button start, and the heated front seats for those few colder months in Arlington TX.
  •
  • EX-L: yes, the L stands for leather! Slide in and enjoy premium offerings, like a leather-trimmed cabin, a memory setting for the driver's seat and power-seating for the passenger, HomeLink® that helps you once you've returned to your house, and a premium 450-watt audio system that can really bump your playlist.
  •
  • Touring: the Touring adds the cherry-on-top features. There's the previously mentioned heads-up display, a wireless charging pad, the addition of ventilation for the front seats (perfect during Texas heat waves), and navigation. For those who tend to get lost, there's the addition of navigation, and everyone can appreciate the colorful ambient lighting selections.
